I recently moved from Durham, Nc to Springfield IL. While in Durham I was taking martail arts classes i was learning Wing chun, BJJ, Muay Thai and Falpino Martial arts. While i know i cant learn that much here in Springfield IL i was wondering if anybody knew of any Wing Chun instructors in Central Illinois. Please im dying to get back into it have been out for bout 6 months . I would really appreciate it if i could get in contact with someone who could or would teach me, some Wing Chun.
I am self trained in the martial arts. I am use a traditional street fighting stance with both fists clenched. I attack the body using Tiger Style Kung Fu. I attack the head and slower style opponents with Praying Mantis Kung Fu. I grab the opponent using Hapkido techniques. I kick using low Muay Thai Kickboxing kicks. I combo using Jeet Kun Do techniques. I mainly attack using palms, backhands, and elbows. I switch stances based upon martial art and sometimes use Jeet Kun Do stance. I believe in the philosophy of Hwarangdo and Jeet Kun Do. What martial art is similar? Hwarango? Jeet Kun Do? Yunwharyu? Something else? Or is my combination style completely original?

not looking to lose weight but was thinking, hey why not take a martial arts class. Looking to do for fun and to become more healthy, but not sure which method would be best for me. I have upper body strength as well as lower, and maybe am looking to throw people on the ground while wailing on them or do some other type of martial art.

Ok I like Martial Arts and want to be fast and accurate as possible, I also like my body to be toned as possible with a great look. I guessing this is possible to have both at same time and I”m sure it will be hell of a lot of work.
My Question is should I do body workouts such as pushups sit ups squats etc and then do streches or do one then the other, like how should I work this out?
