What Best Suits Martial Arts For Streching And Mucsles?
Ok I like Martial Arts and want to be fast and accurate as possible, I also like my body to be toned as possible with a great look. I guessing this is possible to have both at same time and I”m sure it will be hell of a lot of work.
My Question is should I do body workouts such as pushups sit ups squats etc and then do streches or do one then the other, like how should I work this out?

Well, stretching before a workout does next to nothing to increase your muscle strength and flexibility. It’s all about stretching after wards if you wish to increase your range of motion and flexibility (vital in the martial arts). Push ups, sit ups, pull ups, and the like are all well and good, but can only get you so far. You’re going to need to have access to some real weight machines, either through a home gym or membership to a gym. You will want to a full body workout. This means targeting each muscle group by itself and increasing each ones strength. Some main muscle groups are your biceps, triceps, traps, abs (both main and oblique) quads, hamstrings, and calves. To name a few. But be conscious of how you work them. You need to alternate between groups, upper body one day, lower the next, and not only to do large amounts of weights and small reps (to increase strength) but also lower amounts of weights with high reps (to increase your endurance.) Find a plan that works for you without tiring yourself out. A proper diet is also vital to achieve optimal results, and some whey protein wouldn’t hurt either. That will help sculpt and build your muscles. Avoid other supplements like creatine, which will add mass as well, giving you a more bulked up wrestler result than it will a martial arts body.
Stop speculating and worrying about it, just start working out, and start stretching.
Eventually you’ll learn your body, and what works best for you. You’re not going to die because you did a pre-stretch workout as opposed to a post-stretch workout. So get busy already.
I say stretch EVERY morning as soon as you wake up, and before you go to bed EVERY night.
You should always stretch before you workout or fight. You don’t have to spend a lot of time stretching to develop a powerful kick. Its not like people just decide whether they prefer stretching or working out.
Stretches work better AFTER warming up the muscles.
Jog to start off, then work from the top down … push ups (arms), Sit ups (abs) then squats.
The flexibility is mainly for the kicks, so legs should be well warmed by then
People in my class do tai chi followed by karate. They are really fit and it is great for body and mind.
If You Want Flexibility go for Taekwondo WTF Style.
Learn some basic yoga positions. They work well with your martial arts studies.
i don’t think there is one specific just depends what you do most.
exercise all over is the best so yes do both
