Best Way To Fade A Section Of A Brand New Tattoo?
I got a new tattoo 2 days ago, the artist messed up one small section of it by making it too big. I want to have this section lasered off so that it can be redone. Would picking the scab of this one section be the best way to make it fade so as to not require as many laser sessions? Cover Up is not an option as the problem is the border of the tattoo is noticeably too big in proportion to the other side.

wash it with soap and water and let it heal dry. the Vaseline is supposed to just form a seal on things or if anything project moisture in…i can’t really see something traveling in the opposite direction.
when you wash the part you want to keep you have to make sure you pat the soap on and then splash it off (avoiding submersion) and pat it dry with a very clean towel. rubbing of any sort does cause you to lose ink (though no always a substantial amount of course)
letting a tattoo heal dry causes it to fade. do not pick your scab as it will scar and likely infect. if it is a scab you’re losing that skin and ink anyway so i can’t see it helping. all you can do is hope to lose as much as you can before it scabs, then leave it be and leave it dry as possible.
no dont pick the scab because you can make it scar, and scarring is very hard to tattoo over. if anything use vaseline as it heals because that will pull the ink out.
