I work in a tattoo shop and we preform piercings.
My understanding is this…while our piercers are more than willing to poke a hole where ever a person is willing to pay for it to be put, they tell me that the little known fact of hood piercings is this:
Unless you have a problem achieving the big O, it’s a terrible piercing to get because it can desensitize a woman after a couple of years and even cause a castration of sorts. I’ve never even thought about it, myself, and the women that I know that have had it done say they do become less sensitive to clitoral orgasms over time and end up taking the piercing out but never regain sensetivity…and…they complain of recurring infections.
I say, do what yah like, but I at least hope you were as informed as possible before you did it. Most piercing places don’t tell you everything for fear of losing $$$$$$!!!! (Don’t forget, your piercer is thinking of eating and paying their bills…not your long term welfare!)
